The children at Akili prep school resumed school this week for the start of second term having stayed home for 3 weeks for April holidays. The children were so excited to be back to school and meet their friends and teachers. They will break again in August.

During the April holidays, Akili library provided a safe place where the akili prep school children and other primary and high school students in Obunga and its environs came to study, meet and exchange notes with their friends and hangout. The library was always full of children/students and our 15 chairs and desks were not enough
