SPORTS EDUCATION
Sports Education
- Volunteers with passion for sports have a chance to teach girls different sports including soccer/football, netball, basketball, introduce foreign sports and educate the children on general fitness, health and wellbeing.
- ROF uses sports to promote peace in the community through inter-school and inter-community tournaments.Volunteers in this project are encouraged to work with our teachers to develop different teams that can compete with other teams in the community. They can also approach sports clubs in their home countries to donate sports gear/kits for the girls, sponsor a tournament or train teachers as coaches.
- Volunteers in this program can teach children music, drama, storytelling, and musical instrument lessons. They can also work with the teachers to start a school choir, teach dance classes, and act in short plays and skits with the children.
- The goal of this project is to enable children to identify their talents, increase their confidence, and participate in music and drama festivals at both regional and national level. Volunteers will work with pupils between the ages of 3 to 14 years.
