Through our Akili Climate Solutions Lab, we train  students and local farmers in climate resilient farming practices as well as post harvest handling techniques such as solar drying of vegetables to ensure food security and improve household income in the community. We also organize food tasting workshops to promote acceptability and uptake of dried vegetables and plant based diets to improve nutrition among rural households in Western Kenya.
