SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT
Overview:
Riley Orton Foundation Org is looking for a volunteer Social Media manager who will help our organization to gain visibility and improve our online presence through our social media accounts as well as website. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our storytelling efforts as we empower rural Kenyan girls through education.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be passionate and creative. Knowledge of social media platforms and design related computer programs is also helpful.
Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
- Develop, manage and oversee social media content and help to measure the success of our social media campaigns.
- Use social media marketing tools to showcase our impact (This will involve storytelling through posts about our programs)
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimisation
- Work with our team in Kenya to collect/develop content for daily/weekly/monthly posts, blogs, newsletters etc
- Working on special projects such as fundraising campaigns, researching for and writing blog articles, and more.
