Akili Literacy Center
This center offers reading resources and constructive after school activities like homework and tuition assistance to improve numeracy and literacy skills of learners. The library also promotes entrepreneurship and talent development through financial literacy education, acting, debates, cooking competitions, modeling etc. 
Volunteer Opportunities include:

• Assisting the students to improve their writing and reading skills by teaching them correct use of grammar and appropriate use of  tense using the guide books. Volunteers can also bring manuals  and develop specific curriculum materials to assist in the program.
• Help with map and picture reading activities to help broaden their world view and allow students to look beyond their locality. 
• Assist with building connections with partner schools to conduct pen pals and other virtual exchange programs 
• Help with computer instruction (packages, software, hardware, programming, coding etc)
• Leading reading and storytelling sessions for students 

Entrepreneurship Education 

• Researching and documenting ideas of teaching entrepreneurship to children and youth
• Designing and leading entrepreneurial activities for students 
• Technology training eg use of social media etc for business 
• Donor     and supporter relations, researching/writing grant applications for the library.
• Connecting the library to kids and youth entrepreneurship hubs across the world 
• ​Designing monitoring and evaluation tools to track progress
